Real estate in Andorra

Investing in real estate

Andorra’s main strong point in the purchase of real estate by residents and non-residents is the lack of real estate tax. The only payments to be made are to the administrations of the different ‘ parish’ and, in general, they do not exceed € 100 per year for a cabin with a surface of 500 m2.

Real estate sold after 10 years of possession

The rate depends on the number of years that the property has remained in possession: if the property has remained the property of the same person for more than 10 years, there is no gain.

Real estate sold before 10 years of possession

If the property has remained less than 10 years in the owner’s possession, the calculation shall be made using a corrective coefficient determined annually by the Andorran Government. The gain can then vary from 1% to 15%.
